Pre-natal care is important to making sure both you and the baby stay healthy, and it’s never too late to start. Your counselor can help you find a health care professional if you don’t have one already. We can also help you file for Pregnancy Medicaid if you do not have insurance, and provide transportation to your appointments.

MEET WITH A COUNSELOR

When you meet with a counselor, you’ll discuss your unique situation and explore your options. If you’re ready, your counselor can help you establish medical care as well as determine how much financial assistance the adoption agency can provide.

MAKE YOUR ADOPTION PLAN

Start making important decisions for your adoption plan – like choosing an adoptive family and developing a post-placement contact plan. Your counselor will also help you create a hospital and birth plan. At the hospital, you’ll be in control of how much time you spend with the baby, whether or not the adoptive parents are there, and what name goes on your baby’s birth certificate.
